The fourth installment in a six-part leadership series, this 60-minute course addresses cognitive problem-solving, meta-cognition as it relates to innovation, and leadership strategies for embracing innovation and change. Models of effective organizational climates for dealing with complexity and uncertainty are presented. Of particular interest is how leaders within an organization can effectively build and sustain climates for innovation. Also examined are factors that can damage these climates and suppress innovation and creativity.
