AIA Los Angeles & AIA|LA COTE 2024 1.5 Degrees Symposium
This year’s 1.5 Degrees Symposium on Climate Change includes features 12 amazing presenters, 7 inspiring courses and unlimited insights into what design professional can do now to leverage their influence on the built environment and on the health, resiliency and climate equity of our communities.
Hosted by AIA Los Angeles and the AIA Los Angeles Committee on the Environment, courses examine and underscore the urgency of 1) reducing embodied carbon and emissions, 2) the circular economy, 3) carbon-storing buildings, 4) low-carbon construction, 5) intelligent material selection, 6) innovative technologies for reducing carbon in concrete and 7) codes and regulations impacting climate resilience.
Viewers will gain important tools and knowledge necessary to position themselves as leaders in addressing the threat of embodied carbon.
