This course complies with California licensure requirements for accessibility (SB 1608 and California Business and Professions Code Section 5600.05) and provides essential information about accessibility requirements applicable in most states. Take the entire series of 4 courses and fulfill all 5 hours of your California license requirements.

This 60-minute video course provides a general overview of the various codes and standards that affect existing buildings; including the California Building Code (CBC) and the international Building code (IBC along with the ICC A117.1) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (2010 ADA). Scoping for alterations and additions are covered and common errors are highlighted.

This course is presented in high definition video and is available on computers and most smart phones, tablets and mobile devices. (Video streaming might not be available on some Android devices.) Viewers can also download a course transcript and valuable resource material.
